Bicycle Tour Video 28th-October-2017

A French Mairie

Garry McGivern’s bicycle tour video was recorded on the 28th-October-2017. The second of Garry’s video diaries was taken on his recent trip to France. In this episode, Garry leaves Avranches and heads for Caen. He’s only been on the road for two days, but he’s already talking to the animals!

You can read what Garry wrote about this day by reading his blog for the day.

You can watch the video below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can also subscribe to his channel. You’ll then be amongst the first to know when Garry releases a new video.

Bicycle Tour Video 27th-October-2017

Tent in a field

Garry McGivern’s bicycle tour video filmed by Garry on the 27th-October-2017. More silliness from Garry as he tries his hand at video blogging covering his tour of France!

This first episode covers Garry leaving home and his first leg in France from St Malo to Avranches. Obviously, he’s got too much time on his hands at the moment!

You can watch the video below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can also subscribe to his channel. You’ll then be amongst the first to know when Garry releases a new video.

Travelsonabike2 England Monday 30th-October-2017

Coastline

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is bicycle touring England on Monday 30th-October-2017. Brighstone to Bognor Regis. 53 miles.

Church

It was a fresh start to the day, and it was definitely a struggle to get out of my nice, warm sleeping bag. But I’ll take these cold mornings over damp, wet ones anytime!

Blackgang Chine

It was a very relaxed start to the day; I wasn’t in any hurry to rush off. I knew I had to go home. It was just a question of which way.

St Catherine's point

In the end, I just had a little bimble around the island, trying to find routes that I hadn’t been on before. Which is very hard on somewhere that only measures 25 miles by 13 miles, roughly, and you’ve been here as often as I have! But I still enjoy it!

Are You Sure

This whole trip has been about finding new routes or at least new routes that I haven’t been on before, well apart from the fact that originally I had intended to go to Paris again!

Sunset

France was still good and I did manage to find a different route. I’ve never cut across the country the way I did. Every other time I’ve been down that way, I’ve gone up around the coast. So that was enjoyable despite it being fairly hilly.

All in all, it’s been another enjoyable little tour. Total miles covered: 255.
