Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is cycle touring in Australia on Friday 13th-April-2012 Renmark to Mildura. 88 miles. Not a lot to say about today. Although I did think I was back on the Nullabor. I was riding on the Sturt Highway, which was as long and straight as any on the Nullarbor.
I came out of the fruit fly exclusion zone at the beginning of the Sturt Highway. That was the only thing worth taking a picture of today!
I saw tonight that Rosie, that lovely lady from the Renmark Motor Inn. Not only gave me a huge discount on my room last night. But also donated $100 to the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation!
Please Donate
Don’t forget the main reason behind my ride. I want to raise as much money for cancer research charities as possible. After my wife, Josie, died of breast cancer in 2007, aged only 42. Even the smallest donation helps. You can donate to Cancer Research UK or the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click on either one to donate. Every little bit helps to rid the world of this cruel disease.
