Bike-ride to Australia-and-beyond Friday, May-18th-2012. In San Francisco. I woke up tired today. I think the jetlag may have caught up with me. As I was feeling tired and, to be honest, not 100% either, I decided to stay in San Francisco for one more night.
I’ve spent most of the day in the hotel and have only ventured up the road to the little shop. It does seem a shame, but as I said yesterday. I’m not very good at playing the tourist on my own. And besides, I really do want to get moving. I’ve been off the bike for two weeks now!
Don’t forget the main reason for being here. I want to raise as much money for cancer research charities as possible. After my wife, Josie, died of breast cancer in 2007, aged only 42. Even the smallest donation helps. You can donate to Cancer Research UK or the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click on either one to donate.
