A close call on the Prithvi Highway in Nepal Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 YouTube video cycling along the Prithvi Highway. Hold on to your hats. Believe it or not, Garry is cycling on the correct side of the road. Although you wouldn’t think so judging by the traffic coming towards him!

Garry McGivern’s YouTube video Cycling the Tribhuvan Highway in Nepal. A collection of the photos and videos Garry took on his epic bicycle ride up the Tribhuvan Highway in November 2016.

For a while, the Highway was the only main road linking India and Nepal. It runs from the Raxaul/Birganj border to Naubise, 16 miles west of Kathmandu.

This video is the section north of Hetauda in the Sivalik Hills to Naubise. It’s only 20 miles as the crow flies, but the twisting turning road takes it to over 60 miles! It’s an endless series of climbs and descents.

Garry’s latest purchase is the MSR Hubba Tour2 tent, which Garry made a video of. It’s the tent that Garry has been waiting for for years!

It had only arrived in the post that morning, and Garry couldn’t wait to try it out! There was only one thing to do: pitch it in the garden! Garry’s first impressions are good and can’t wait until the weather improves and he can try it out properly.
