2nd September 2022 Garry McGivern’s Europe-2022 bicycle-tour video; episode-9. Le Lac d’Orient to Pont-sur-Seine. It’s a lovely sunny start to the day as Garry leaves his overnight stop at the campsite next to lake d’Orient. But after a couple of miles, Garry decides it’s probably a good idea with his worsening health if he changes course.
After a change of direction, Garry passes through Troys, which he wasn’t very impressed with yesterday. But today, he finds it quite delightful and discovers an intriguing sculpture. His change, of course, sees Garry following canals all-day. And although it’s been easy riding, he’s had enough of his new saddle and decides that he needs to do something about it. Even though it’s been an easy day following the canals on smooth asphalt, the end of the day is something different.
