Bike-Ride to Australia 6th-April-2012

Bike-Ride to Australia Friday 6th-April-2012. In Ceduna. I swapped my tyres around straight after breakfast. Hopefully, they’ll see me through to Sydney now.

Sometimes the days that I’m not cycling are so exciting. Not! Today I spent all day in my room on the laptop! The only time I looked up from the screen was to look outside and see what the weather was doing. It was blowing a gale. It seems like I chose a good day to take off.

It’s Good Friday here as it is at home, and literally, everything is closed. Including the hotel, the only person working is a security guard. Luckily, the hotel had already told me this last night when I checked in, so I could get enough supplies to see me through, mainly beer! I think I may have bought a bit too much. I’ve still got eight cans left! Oh well, I suppose I best drink them all tonight. I can’t carry all that extra weight tomorrow.

Don’t forget the main reason behind my ride, which is to raise as much money for cancer research charities as possible. Even the smallest donation helps. You can donate to Cancer Research or the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click on either one to donate.
