Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 March-2018  bicycle tour of the Isle of Wight and Hampshire YouTube videos. A playlist of the videos that Garry recorded on his brief ride to the Isle of Wight and New Forest. Garry’s in a lot of pain from his hip and struggling to cycle.

He’s due to go into hospital to have his right hip replaced. But hasn’t got a date yet. So rather than sit around at home and be in pain. He decided to go away cycling and be in pain on his bike instead.

You can watch the videos below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can also subscribe to his channel. You’ll then be amongst the first to know when Garry releases a new video. Or subscribe to Garry’s emails and receive all of his updates.

  1. You will survive!
after one of your videos I have to have a cup of tea and watch Mylene Farmer. How do you cope with the potholes on the Island? Have you been banned from Sussex and Surrey? I haven’t seen any posts in that area. Just think, when you’re old and retired to the Island, you’ll have all thos videos to look back on. I’m going to take my bike to Portsmouth and cycle to Hayling Island.

    1. The roads on the island are a lot better than the roads over here, believe it or not!
Sussex and Surrey, not been banned yet! I just prefer heading west.
That’ll be a nice little ride you could do a loop, get the ferry to Hayling Island, cycle up the Billy trail to Havant and then come back to Portsmouth on the cycle paths or vice versa. Portsmouth cycle routes map
