Travelsonabike2 The USA Monday 11th-June-2012

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is cycling the USA, Monday, 11th-June-2012 McCook to Franklin. 98 miles. I think the wind must have blown itself out yesterday. It was very calm to start with this morning. However, it did get up a bit later in the day, but it was behind me. There’s a saying around here; the day the wind stops, everybody will fall over.

Cars in water
Felpham underwater

It’s been lovely and sunny today, unlike back home. My home town of Felpham is underwater and is flooded. There’s a canoe in my garage if anybody wishes to borrow it.

Please Donate

Don’t forget the main reason behind my ride. I want to raise as much money for cancer research charities as possible. After my wife, Josie, died of breast cancer in 2007, aged only 42. Even the smallest donation helps. You can donate to Cancer Research UK or the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click on either one to donate. Every little bit helps to rid the world of this cruel disease.
