Monday 26th March 2012 – Yellowdine to Coolgardie.

Yellowdine to Coolgardie. 97 miles

Really nice little roadhouse I stopped at last night, cheap, lovely friendly staff, great food and nice big portions! Even got given a couple of beers from one of the staff, from his own supply! The breakfast this morning was really good and big also, set me up for the day which is what I needed as it was a long cycle between roadhouses, over ninety miles with nothing in-between and when I say nothing, I mean nothing, think it might be even further tomorrow!

It’s been long straight roads today you could see the road go on for miles, and I’m not even on the longest strait yet, I’ve got that to look forward too! Don’t know how I’ll cope in this desert thing, finding it all a bit boring already! Tried playing eye spy, but I keep getting it on my first guess! There’s not even that much traffic, the road trains create a lot of turbulence when they go by and you have to hold on, but they do give you plenty of room.
