Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is cycle touring in England on Monday, 2nd-September-2019. Portsmouth to Bognor Regis. 6 Miles. Bit of an uncomfortable night trying to sleep on the ferry last night. I’m sure they turn the air conditioning to cold, in a bid to make you get a cabin or a sleeper chair!
Docked in Portsmouth on time, although it always seems to take forever getting through passport control these days!
I was going to cycle home, but I really didn’t have the energy, hopefully due to the lack of sleep! Also I wanted to get an appointment at the doctors, and it would have been sods law, they’d say come early, when I’d still be miles away! So I phoned from the train as soon as they opened and got an appointment this afternoon. I must admit that my doctors are very good, you can nearly always get an appointment on the same day!
The good news is that they can’t find anything wrong with me, the bad news, I’ve got to go back tomorrow to see a different doctor!
All today’s photos are from earlier in the week.

Hi Garry! Hope you can refocus. That trip was a bit ambitious but you did a good mileage. I’ve just moved to windows 10 so I’m having to find my way about. What was that bridge?
Maybe it was, but I’m sure it would have been okay had these blisters not come up!
Good luck with Windows 10, always a nightmare when things are new or change!
The bridge is Pont de Saint-Nazaire.
