Cycling East England: King’s Lynn to Bognor Regis by train
My latest bicycle touring update: cycling in East England. King’s Lynn to Bognor Regis by train. In the end, last night I decided to get the train home today. After weighing up the different options, I decided that the train would be best. Especially as I have to be home early on Monday morning.
To cycle it would have meant doing over 100 miles today and then the same tomorrow, and that doesn’t allow for getting lost! Also, it meant going through London, and I always get lost there! I could have ridden for a while today and got a train back tomorrow, but then there’s always that worry that they’ll be doing engineering works on a Sunday. And there would be a bus replacement, which I wouldn’t be allowed to take the bike onto.
The train journey home was none eventful, and even cycling across London was fine. I know central London, so don’t get lost. It’s the suburbs I’m not too good with.
