Saturday 28th April 2012 – Gosford to Karuah.

Gosford to Karuah. 86 miles.

Good start to the day I had 5km of downhill! The riding’s so much more interesting now, it’s so much more varied, the roads twist and turn and also there up and down, it’s a far cry from a couple of weeks ago when it was long straight flat roads! Can’t believe I’m actually enjoying hills!

Saw some pelicans today, pretty big birds! Also past a train that was over 2km long and had 3 engines to pull it!

The motel tonight is run by a really nice old boy, who is also a country and western singer, he’s got a load of cds that he’s recorded for sale in reception. Don’t think he could quite believe that I’d cycled from England!
