Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 Spirit FM Awards Video was filmed on the 19th-October-2012. The annual Spirit FM local hero awards, which this year was held at the Avisford Park Hotel near Chichester.
The annual event is held to honour local people for various achievements in all walks of life. Garry was lucky enough to receive his for his charity bike ride around the world.
Garry was unable to attend the event as he was on the final leg of his world tour and was in China at the time. Instead, his daughter, Vicky, picked up the award on his behalf. Although the video was recorded on a mobile phone and isn’t the best of quality. But it gives you a sense of the occasion.
