St-Richards-Hospital 27th July 2021

St-Richards-Hospital 27th July 2021. Found out today why they’ve taken my crutches away and given me a Zimmer frame. To slow me down! I don’t know why they’d do something like that!

Had to have another go at the doctor today for changing my medication! This time it was halfway through the day yesterday! I did ask if there was a reason for this, as I don’t mind then. But there was no reason at all, and she had no explanation! I did feel a bit guilty for having a go at her! But as I said, it’s bad enough trying to cope with this new hip! But now I’ve got cope with backache and sciatica! I wasn’t a happy bunny this morning!

Then come lunchtime and they gave mine to somebody else! You couldn’t write this stuff! On a brighter note at least I got my regular meds, just no lunch to have them with! They apologised about lunch, which I was fine with really. It’s good to have something over the staff, for windup purposes!

Apart from speaking to Vicky and Indya via Facetime, which I do everyday. And Julie coming over to visit, it’s been a quiet day. And I’ve slept for much of it!

  1. Oh Garry, and so the saga goes on!
Careful on that Zimmer frame, remember it’s designed to make you go slower, not to run people over with😂😂😂
What with no lunch and mess up in medication, coupled with pain, I bet you’re a right grumpy git!! BUT I think you’re entitled to be, pain is so debilitating.
As I’ve said before, hang on in there, it will only get better with time and patience!
    Sending love 😘

    1. I’m back on the crutches tomorrow anyway. But I’ll bare that running people over thing, I like that!
Even more grumpy than normal! But as you say it is so debilitating!
Unfortunately, that’s one thing I don’t have a lot of, patience!
