Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is bicycle touring in England on Friday, the 20th-September-2024. Brockenhurst to Bognor Regis . 74 miles. Finally, I’ve got some mileage in. The ride home was better than expected. I was expecting a strong headwind and had thought that I’d catch the train home from Southampton.
After cycling through the forest, I reached Southampton. The route I take takes me straight past the railway station. But after thinking how many cakes I’ve eaten this week. That’ll be one every day, then! I decided it was probably better to cycle home to burn some of the calories off.
Hopefully, I’ll go away next weekend and do the route I expected to do this past week. Although, this time I’ll end up in Salisbury for another appointment with the neurosurgeon. Hopefully, this one will know what he’s doing and actually deal with necks.
