Cycling England: Bognor Regis to Salisbury

My latest bicycle touring update: cycling in England, Bognor Regis to Salisbury. 85 miles. 85 miles seems a bit much. But hey, if that’s what my trip computer says, then it must be true. I did come quite a different way, and a couple of those miles are from yesterday.

As I said in my monthly update, I was supposed to have left home yesterday. And I did. I just didn’t get very far. I’ve been feeling pretty rough for the past week or so, and wasn’t feeling great when I left home yesterday. But thought I could ride it off. I didn’t. I got to the other side of Bognor. Felt really bad, turned around. Went home, went to bed and slept for much of the day, which obviously did me the world of good because this morning, I felt fine.

Where Am I Going

I’m off to Bridgwater for a couple of days to get my bike serviced at Thorn Cycles. Yes, I know I could do it myself. But it wouldn’t be as good, plus it gives me a good excuse to go on a ride. Once Passepartout is sorted, I’m not too sure what I’m doing. A lot depends on the weather and how I feel.
