Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is bicycle touring in England on Sunday, the 15th-September-2024, in Brockenhurst. There’s not a lot to say about today, what with my family coming to visit, which was nice. Indya, my granddaughter, has never been to the New Forest, so it was good for her to see the ponies.
First thing this morning, knowing that my family were coming to visit, I thought I’d best cook that minced beef I’d bought yesterday for my spag bol. So, as soon as the shops were open, I went into Brockenhurst to get the rest of the ingredients I didn’t have. It took me three different shops before I found what I was looking for. And after stopping to speak to some of the wardens on-site, Vicky (my daughter) and her family were nearly here. So I never got around to cooking it. I wonder if the mince will be okay for another day!?
Indya enjoyed the ponies and other animals in the forest. And after playing around with a football and frisbee, we went into Brockenhurst for a Sunday roast in one of the pubs. And that’s about it for the day. I’m not going to say anything about tomorrow because whatever I say, I probably won’t do. So we’ll wait until the morning to decide.
