Cycling Europe, England: in Great Shelford, Cambridge
My latest bicycle touring update, cycling in Europe: England, in Great Shelford, Cambridge. As I said yesterday, if the weather was bad again today, I’m staying put. And guess what? It’s another day where I’ve not moved on.
I could hear the wind in the night, along with the odd shower. And it was still windy when I got up, so I had a look at the weather forecast. It didn’t look good. Strong winds all day, along with a high percentage chance of rain. That was it. I wasn’t going anywhere; I couldn’t cope with another day like yesterday. As it turned out, I’ve not had any rain, but it has been windy.

I popped out briefly this morning to go into Cambridge. But it was already heaving at 11 o’clock. So, I took a couple of quick photos before heading to the supermarket. That was busy, too. I was worn out by the time I got back to camp. Mind you, it didn’t help that I couldn’t even follow my phone to get back to camp. I kept going the wrong way.
