Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is bicycle touring in England on Thursday, the 20th-June-2024 in Salisbury. Just as well, I turned up early at this campsite in Salisbury. It’s the summer solstice today. And because Stonehenge, where the solstice is celebrated, is only just up the road, the campsite is rather full.
I popped out this morning to the supermarket and, on the way back, got a little carried away taking photographs. Even though I’ve taken hundreds of photos of Salisbury in the past, you never know; I may have even taken some of something different.
It was gone midday before I returned to the campsite. So, I had a spot of lunch and talked to a few of the other campers. And before I knew where I was, it was time to have a shower and head to the hospital to see about my neck.
The campsite seems rather full of Dutch people. As was the Cambridge campsite. Perhaps they all headed to England when they heard I was in their country. Little did they know I wasn’t stopping in the Netherlands for long.
Not A Good End To The Day
Anyway, I’ve been to the hospital, and I’m too annoyed, even angry, to say anything about it. I might write a whole post about it!
