Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is bicycle touring England on Tuesday, the 8th-October-2024, in Salisbury. Well, last night’s weather warning never came to anything. Yes, we had some rain for an hour or so, which sounded heavy. But then it always does in a tent.
This morning was a little boring waiting to go to the hospital. It kept raining on and off so I couldn’t go anywhere without getting wet. Because of the bad weather, I left for the hospital two hours early when I saw a break in the weather and managed to get there in the dry.
At The Hospital
The consultant was much better this time. For a start, he knew what he was talking about. And he had my scans. Unlike the last idiot, I saw at that hospital. He really just confirmed what everyone else has said. I’m complicated! It’s hard to know where my symptoms are coming from. It could be my neck or it could be my lower back. Or it most probably is both! We won’t know until we operate. And the chances are that I’ll have to have two operations, one on my neck and one on my lower back. But luckily (depending on which way you look at it), I’ve got time on my hands, and we can wait until it gets worse. He said he’ll review me again in six months.
