Travelsonabike2 France Tuesday 4th-June-2024

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is bicycle touring France on Tuesday, the 4th-June-2024. Clinchamps-sur-Orne to Honfleur. 50 miles. For those of you who don’t follow me on social media (why not?) I’m in France.

I caught the overnight crossing from Portsmouth to Saint-Malo on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the website went down at the same time, or at least it did at my end. Meaning I couldn’t post anything. But bad luck, it’s back up and running.

I’ve got a few weeks free until my next hospital appointment. Well, I thought I had. I got a text this morning telling me I’d missed an appointment today. I didn’t know anything about it. I know what’s happened. Mike, my physio, who the appointment was with, didn’t send the text through. He’s done it before. Anyway, I rang up and gave my apologies and said I’d rebook when I’m home.

What Was You Saying

Anyway, back to what I was saying, I’ve got to be in Salisbury on the twentieth for an appointment with the neurosurgeon. Which I assume is to see what operation they are going to do on my neck. Well, that’s what MSK told me. So, my plan at the moment is to cycle up to Rotterdam and get the ferry back to England. Then, cycle to Salisbury for the appointment.

Some kind lady bought this out for me when I was having a break. It made my day
