Travelsonabike2 England Saturday 1st-July-2023

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is cycle touring in the UK Saturday, 1st-July-2023. Bognor Regis to Salisbury. 70 miles. That was a hard 70 miles there’s been a strong wind blowing against me all day. I was certainly glad to finish.

I’m not too sure if I mentioned it last week or not. But the reason I’ve come away is for a family reunion in Bath on Monday. I could have driven but you know me, any excuse to get out on the bike.

I’m pretty surprised I made it today. We had a lad’s day out sailing to the Isle of Wight yesterday. Except we didn’t go, it was too windy. We stayed in Chichester Harbour instead, where in theory it would be a little calmer, which it was, I suppose. It still got up to force 7 in the harbour it was certainly rather exhilarating. Then after a day of sailing, we ended up in the pub. I didn’t get home until midnight. And was up again at five. I think I may sleep rather well tonight.

Since I last posted I’ve been to the hospital for physio. Blimey that was a full-on workout. He was pulling and stretching my neck in every direction possible and even ones that I didn’t think were! I’m not too sure if it did any good. But at least it didn’t make it any worse.
