One of Garry’s cousins has organised a family reunion in Bath, so Garry’s using it as an excuse to go on a bike ride. After all, you wouldn’t expect him to get there any other way.
There’s a strong headwind today, so Garry avoids his usual route along the seafront, where the wind is strongest and finds himself cycling through Bognor town. But it’s not long before Garry leaves the town and finds himself in the countryside, many miles from home and in the hills of the Southdowns. The hills prove too much for Garry, and there’s more pushing than cycling. Not only is Garry struggling with the hills, but he’s still got that strong headwind to contend with.
