Episode 2 of Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 Uk cycle touring Video, which was posted on his YouTube channel on the 13th-July-2023. Garry’s on the road nice and early as he leaves his overnight stop in Salisbury. Garry was expecting to be following a familiar route, but after relying on his phone for directions finds himself on a new route. And cycling over a hill. A little later, Garry finds out he’s heading for another hill and quickly does a U-turn.
After reaching Bradford-on-Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal, Garry has to change his route and where he’s going to stop for the night. But after heading back on himself, he has another change, and it’s back to his original destination. Garry decides to avoid the canal this time; it’s too busy being the weekend. But he soon regrets that’s decision after his route takes him over a steep hill that he ends up having to walk up.
