Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 YouTube video, Bicycle Touring England 3rd May 2024, was posted on his YouTube channel today, the 14th-May-2024. It’s a slow start to the day, but eventually, it’s time to leave the New Forest and head to the Isle of Wight for the annual ride across the island. Except it’s not so annual these days. But maybe it will restart after this year.
There’s a lot of dithering on which route Garry should take. But eventually, he makes it to Lymington and boards the Isle of Wight ferry. There are some familiar faces on the ferry, reminding Garry of the old days of the Isle of Wight trip. Once off the ferry, Garry starts the ride across the island, and he’s soon drudging up his first hill. On his way to Brighstone, Garry does his good deed for the day but ends up regretting it.
