Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 YouTube video, Bicycle Touring England 4th May 2024, was posted on his YouTube channel today, the 15th-May-2024. Garry’s on the Isle of Wight, ready for the traditional Isle of Wight bike ride. Today, he’s heading off to the other side of the island to meet everybody else arriving on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne ferry.
Garry leaves his campsite in plenty of time to ride across the island to Fishbourne. There’s a possible road closed on his route. But after finding the road was now open, he found himself with plenty of spare time. After arriving in Carisbrooke, he decides to go on a detour to see the castle, which, unusually for Garry, involves him cycling up a hill. Although, he is travelling light without his panniers after leaving his gear at the campsite in Brighstone.
