Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 YouTube video, Bicycle Touring Europe Honfleur to Sainte-Marie-au-Bosc France 5th June 2024, was posted on his YouTube channel today, the 1st-August-2024. It’s June, and Garry has a few weeks free before he has another hospital appointment. Wondering where he could cycle in the time frame he has (he’s got nearly three weeks). He’s decided to head off to the continent.
It’s a late start to the day due to the rain. But Garry’s still earlier than most tourists and has the pretty town of Honfleur to himself as he stops to take a few photos. After Honfleur Garry has to cross the River Seine on the Pont de Normandie bridge, made somewhat scarier than usual due to roadworks and half the bridge being closed off. Garry survives the bridge, and not long after that, he decides to have an early day and stop.
