Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 YouTube video, Bicycle Touring Europe England 1st June 2024, was posted on his YouTube channel today, the 28th-July-2024. It’s the beginning of June, and Garry has a few weeks free before he has another hospital appointment. Wondering where he could cycle in the time frame he has (he’s got nearly three weeks). He’s decided to head off to the continent.
It’s the start of Garry’s tour, so he’s heading to Portsmouth to catch the overnight ferry to Saint-Malo. Garry’s favourite route whenever he goes to France. Garry leaves home in plenty of time for the short ride to Portsmouth and stops off in Chichester en route. Even after stopping off, he arrives five hours ahead of his ferry—observations and comments from Garry as he rides his bike around England.
