Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 YouTube video, Bicycle Touring Europe France 4th June 2024, was posted on his YouTube channel today, the 31st-July-2024. It’s June, and Garry has a few weeks free before he has another hospital appointment. Wondering where he could cycle in the time frame he has (he’s got nearly three weeks). He’s decided to head off to the continent.
Garry reaches Caen and, after a very brief stop, follows the Canal de Caen to Pegasus Bridge. It’s usually one of Garry’s favourite places, but not on this occasion. After following the cycle route for another hour or two, Garry stops for a break and is pleasantly surprised by the kindness of a stranger—observations and comments from Garry as he rides his bike around France.
