Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 YouTube video, Bicycle Touring Europe Le Treport to Dannes France, 9th June 2024, was posted on his YouTube channel today, the 5th-August-2024. It’s June, and Garry has a few weeks free before he has another hospital appointment. Wondering where he could cycle in the time frame he has (he’s got nearly three weeks). He’s decided to head off to the continent.
After a lazy day yesterday, Garry’s back on the road and soon reaches the Somme. Fittingly, for the Somme, Garry comes across a field of poppies. The Somme keeps giving as he comes across field after field of poppies. Later on in the day, Garry takes a funny turn and has to stop.
