I thought the old stomach was ok first thing this morning but it wasn’t! But at least the emodium’s working and I’m able to continue, it just gets a bit boring drinking water and eating biscuits all day!
One thing I forgot to mention yesterday is that I passed the 1000 mile mark, it seems to have taken for ever, but then I suppose I was recuperating in my nursing home in Dhule for 10 days!

On the old health front apart from having the shits I now seem to have developed a spot on my bum! (will the ailments every end?) So tonight I went in search of some sanitary towels for extra cushioning! The bloke in the shop where I went to buy them gave me a really strange look and as much as I tried to explain the reason why I wanted them I think I just made things worse! In the end I just shut up and paid for them!

Congratulation for the distance ! a speedy recovery !
Thanks András, always good to get the first 1000 miles done, although I don’t think there will be another 1000 on this trip, but you never know!
I am your number one fan. I hope the runs clear up and the bum
Thanks Tricia I always knew you were! I think everything is all on the mend now.
Hi Spike
I am following your trip and am once again amazed at your determination and stamina.
Thank you for your diaries. I read them either last thing at night or just before I get up in the morning and rush off to work.
Congratulations on reaching your 1000 miles!! I wonder how many you have done in all your cycling history.
When do you plan to return?
Take care Spike and I hope you fully recover very soon. I think your body is clearly telling you to rest a bit and recoup again. Not that you will take notice of that or anybody.
I look forward to reading your next instalment tonight. Happy cycling and keep safe ????
Liz xx
Thank you Liz, I think I’m nearly fully recovered now. Glad you like the posts.
