Garry McGivern’s Twitter Photo 3rd-January-2014

A cycle touring photo that was posted on my Twitter account Garry Mcgivern’s Travelsonabike2 on the 3rd-January-2014 I was at home in Felpham on a rough January day when I took the photo.

I’m not liking this weather very much. It just seems to be one storm after another. It’s constantly raining and blowing a gale! We had some high spring tides at the beginning of the month. And what with a combination of the high tides and strong winds, the prom (seafront path) became a bit of a no-go zone. We were lucky here as we didn’t get any flooding, unlike other parts of the UK; we just ended up with a lot of stones everywhere, which were brought in by the heavy seas.
