Garry McGivern’s bicycle tour video was recorded on the 28th-October-2017. The second of Garry’s video diaries was taken on his recent trip to France. In this episode, Garry leaves Avranches and heads for Caen. He’s only been on the road for two days, but he’s already talking to the animals!

Where do you buy your grub? Monoprix? You passed a cafe without stopping. The video doesn’t give a sense of the hills – it all looks flat. That’s the first time I’ve seen the centre of Caen. Was it a fast ferry home or did you get a cabin?
I don’t really have a favourite place to shop it’s whatever is around. I very rarely stop at cafes I just find it takes too long!
That was the first time that I’d been to Caen and is well worth a visit.
