Wednesday 14th March 2012 – Problinggo to Banyuwangi.

Problinggo to Banyuwangi. 115 miles

No wonder it’s rained nearly every day since I’ve been in Indonesia found out tonight it’s the rainy season! Mind you it’s kept the temperature down a bit.

It’s been a fairly tough few days, I’ve been a man on a mission covering 350 miles in 3 days, but I’m where I wanted to be be, at the ferry port. It’s been a fairly pleasant ride mainly along the coast just yards away from the sea. Passing through loads of little fishing villages with all the small boats lined up on the beach waiting to go out again tomorrow. A lot of the beaches are not that picture postcard golden sand and palm trees, most of them are covered in rotting, smelly rubbish, with the sea a mucky brown colour!

Thought I’d better wash out my water bottles tonight they’ve gone rather green inside!

Phone still not sorted, I’ll call them when I get to Bali, need to be calm and relaxed with them until they sort my phone out, then I’ll have a go at them!

After breakfast tomorrow, I’ll ride the mile or so back up the road and get the ferry to Bali.
