Cycle Touring England Wednesday 23rd March. Bognor Regis to Brockenhurst. 58 miles.

Finally, I’ve managed to get a camping trip in! After looking at the weather forecast for the weekend, which is your typical bank holiday weather, wet and windy! Although I think it’s more wind than rain and in a bid to beat everybody else going away this Easter weekend I came away early! I was planning on going to Swanage via the Isle of Wight which is my normal way of going, but the ferries just didn’t work out for me, there’s only one an hour at this time of year and both times I just missed the ferry and had to wait for nearly an hour for the next one. It was getting on for 4 o’clock by the time I got to Lymington and there was still another 30 or so miles to do! So rather than have a long day and have to put the tent up in the dark I gave up on Swanage and came to the New Forest instead. Not too sure what I’m doing tomorrow yet I may go back to the IOW and camp there tomorrow, I’ll see in the morning!
