Episode 6 of Garry McGivern’s Brittany Cycle Touring Video, which was posted on his YouTube channel on the 25th-May-2023. The video was recorded earlier in the month, on the 4th and 5th of May. There are two days in a row on this video, as both days were somewhat wet. An early start on the first day gives Garry the opportunity to hear the dawn chorus. Although that didn’t make the hills an easier when he left camp. It was hard going getting out of Quimper, where Garry had spent the night. Things didn’t get much easier as the day went on. The hills got worse, and it started to rain, which remained with Garry all day. And Garry had to make an emergency stop.
Things didn’t get off to the best of starts the following day, as Garry started the day with some steep hills. And it’s not long before the rain sets in again, a couple of wet days.
