Flickr Video 29th-October-2011

Man with bike

Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 Flickr Video, the send-off from the Fox filmed on the 29th-October-2011. Garry sets off on his epic, unaided solo bicycle ride around the World. And what better place to start than his favourite watering hole? Filmed at his farewell party. Just before departing on his 22,000-mile cycle ride!

The video was filmed just before Garry left for Australia. The video was originally posted on his Flickr Page but has now been transferred to YouTube. You can watch the video below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can also subscribe to his channel. You’ll then be amongst the first to know when Garry releases a new video. Or subscribe to Garry’s emails and receive all of his updates.

Garry McGivern’s Twitter Photo 28th-October-2011

A cycle touring photo that was posted on my Twitter account Garry Mcgivern’s Travelsonabike2 on the 28th-October-2011. I was at home preparing for my ride to Australia.

It’s 2011, and I plan to cycle to Australia at the end of October. I’m only going to visit my family on the other side of the world! But, in the process, I hope to raise some much-needed money for cancer research. The countries I intend to cycle through once I leave England are France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, China, Lao, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and then finally cycle across Australia to Brisbane.
