Garry McGivern’s bike-ride to Australia-and-beyond Wednesday, 30th-May-2012. In Provo. Well, I don’t know what I ate or drank last night. But whatever it was, it didn’t agree with me! I was up nearly all night toing and froing to the bathroom! After little sleep last night, I didn’t wake up until gone nine o’clock.
The only time I left my room today was to check that my room wasn’t taken tonight and pay for it. I’m still not feeling particularly brilliant tonight, but hopefully, I’ll get a good night’s sleep tonight and get back on the road tomorrow. Maybe I’m being punished for stopping yesterday!?
Don’t forget the main reason behind my ride. I want to raise as much money for cancer research charities as possible. After my wife, Josie, died of breast cancer in 2007, aged only 42. Even the smallest donation helps. You can donate to Cancer Research UK or the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click on either one to donate. Every little bit helps to rid the world of this cruel disease.
