Garry McGivern Twitter Photo 23rd-July-2012

A photo that I posted on my Twitter account Garry Mcgivern Travelsonabike2 on the 23rd-July-2012. I was home in Bognor Regis, and it was a lovely sunny day. So I went to the beach with my Granddaughter.

I’m on a break from my world tour while I sort out visas for the rest of my ride around the world. It’s also giving me time to recover from being knocked off my bike in New York City.

Don’t forget the main reason behind my ride. I want to raise as much money for cancer research charities as possible. After my wife, Josie, died of breast cancer in 2007, aged only 42. Even the smallest donation helps. You can donate to Cancer Research UK or the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click on either one to donate. Every little bit helps to rid the world of this cruel disease.

Garry McGivern Twitter Photo 16th-July-2012

A photo that I posted on my Twitter account Garry Mcgivern Travelsonabike2 on the 16th-July-2012. I was at home in Bognor Regis. On a break from my world tour after being knocked off my bike in New York City.

I was walking along the seafront when I came across this sign and couldn’t believe what it was saying. The place was underwater not so long ago, and it was also pouring with rain.

World Trade Centre 4th-July-2012

A Twitter photo of the World Trade Centre that I posted on my Twitter account Garry Mcgivern Travelsonabike2 on the 4th-July-2012. It’s Independence Day, and I’ve been playing the tourist with Linda and Eva. The two ladies I met in San Fransisco.

We’re going on a river cruise to watch the fireworks tonight, but today we spent wandering around the sights of NewYork. We’ve booked to visit the new World Trade Centre tomorrow.

Times Square Twitter Photo

A Twitter photo of Times Square that I posted on my Twitter account Garry Mcgivern Travelsonabike2 on the 3rd of July 2012. I arrived in New York City a couple of days ago and was still feeling a little sore after my RTA. So had been taking things easy.

But after spending the morning in my hotel room sorting out visa applications for the next countries on my world tour, I decided to go out and play the tourist. I didn’t go too far as I’ve got those two lovely ladies I met in San Francisco coming to New York for Independence Day. And hope to join them.
