Garry McGivern’s Facebook video was posted on his Facebook page on Friday, 27th-March-2020. It’s only day four of the national lockdown and Garry’s already got cabin fever.

Following the latest government advice around Covid-19, Garry decided to go cycle touring in his garden! If this is only day four, what’s going to happen as the lockdown continues? Let’s all hope that it’s not too long before things return to normal.

Travelsonabike2 Ireland 2019 YouTube Videos

Grass sea

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 2019 bicycle tour of Ireland YouTube videos. Garry’s fourth outing of the year took him to Ireland; this was Garry’s third attempt to cycle Ireland. His first two attempts ended in failure! It’s July 2019, and Garry’s waiting to go into hospital for a hip operation.

Because of his hip, Garry still didn’t want to go too far. And after having already been to France twice this year! Decided it would be a good idea to head off somewhere different! And maybe it would be third time lucky for Garry. And he would complete a cycle ride around Ireland!

These are the videos that Garry recorded on his 1300-mile bike ride around Ireland. You can watch the video below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can find out more by visiting the Ireland tour page.

Eurovelo Bicycle-Tour Video Rotterdam

Eurovelo Bicycle-Tour Video Rotterdam. A video posted on Garry’s YouTube Channel took on his 1,700-mile cycle ride around Europe.

After a month of cycling, Garry reached Rotterdam and had some time to kill. He was due to catch the night crossing from The Hook of Holland to Harwich. But that was hours away, so Garry went on a spot of sightseeing.

Garry shot and posted the video live on YouTube. The video was shot around one of the many waterways in Rotterdam. It shows the old boats near the Maritime Museum.
