Travelsonabike2 Flickr Video Part-1 7th-October-2013

House with rainbow behind

Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 Flickr Video Part-1 was taken on the 7th-October-2013, and posted on his Flickr page. It’s a wet day in Sveti Stefan and Garry’s bored.

Looking out my hotel window this morning, it was grey and overcast and didn’t look very pleasant at all. after having breakfast I went back to my room to get my bags and leave. But in the time it took to get from the restaurant to my room, it started to rain.

Thinking that maybe it would pass over quickly, I thought I’d give it half an hour to see if it would stop. It didn’t. Instead, it got worse with the wind getting up and the rain getting heavier! That was it. I wasn’t going anywhere today. It was miserable riding conditions out there and no fun at all!

The video, which Garry filmed on his way to Greece, was originally posted on his Flickr Page but has now been transferred to YouTube. You can watch the video below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can also subscribe to his channel. You’ll then be amongst the first to know when Garry releases a new video. Flickr Video Col-Du-Poirier France 21st-September-2013

Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 Flickr Video Col-Du-Poirier near Monthureux-le-Sec, France filmed on the 21st-September-2013. The panoramic view from the top of Col Du Poirier, France. Unfortunately, the lens on the camera was a bit dirty.

It was a misty start to the day, but once the mist had lifted, it was a lovely sunny day. The first sunny day I’ve had on this trip and hopefully not the last!
It got a lot more hilly today with my first climb up the 433 metres of Col-du-Poirier. (See the video below.) I’ve got Col de la Schlucht at 1135 metres to look forward to tomorrow!

Honfleur Video 30th-June-2013

Garry McGivern’s Travelsonabike2 Flickr Video “Honfleur” was filmed on the 30th-June-2013 in France. The pretty port of Honfleur was filmed on Garry’s short ride in France from Cherbourg to Le Havre. Unfortunately, the picture isn’t as clear as Garry would have liked. After bouncing around on Garry’s bike for more than 20,000 miles, it has some shadowing on the lens.

The video, which Garry filmed on his short ride along the Normandy coast, was originally posted on his Flickr Page but has now been transferred to YouTube.
