Travelsonabike2 Cheddar Gorge Bike-Ride

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 bike-ride through the Cheddar Gorge video, which was posted on his YouTube channel on the 11th-July-2023. Garry’s been in Bath for a family reunion, which of course, Garry cycled to. But he’s now heading home, and instead of going directly home and following the same route, he came by. He’s cycling via the Cheddar Gorge.

The video starts at the top end of the gorge, so it’s an easy three-mile downhill ride. On the way through the gorge, Garry passes steep limestone cliffs, wild grazing goats and caves. The ride finishes at the very touristy end of the gorge in the village of Cheddar.

An interesting fact about the gorge is that the south side of the gorge is owned by the Marquess of Bath’s Longleat Estate. And the cliffs on the north side of the gorge are owned by The National Trust. (the south side is on the left-hand side of the video)

You can watch the video below or on Garry’s YouTube channel. But honestly, it won’t be any more enjoyable wherever you watch the video! You can also subscribe to his channel.
