Episode 3 of Garry McGivern’s Brittany Cycle Touring Video, which was posted on his YouTube channel on the 22nd-May-2023. The video was recorded earlier in the month, on the 1st of May. Garry leaves his overnight stop in Rennes and soon finds himself cycling along the river Vilaine.
Although Garry doesn’t stay on the river towpath for long, the app he’s following takes him away from the river. But that turns into a bit of a nightmare when it takes him up ridiculously steep hills, paths that don’t exist and rough tracks. And then, to top the day off, Garry has trouble finding an open campsite.
