Garry was at a loose end the other day, so he decided to cycle to London! And along the way, made a video of it!

Travelsonabike2 October 2017 Tour Map
October 2017 bicycle tour map from Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2. The map shows where Garry spent each night of his October 2017 bicycle tour. Behind each pin is a brief description of the day’s ride, along with the miles cycled for the day.
Garry had a few days to spare at the end of the month, so rather than stay home, he decided to head back to France (he’d only just come back from there a week ago). This time, he was going to head to Paris. Unfortunately, the ferry to Le Havre, which is the one Garry needed if he was going to cycle to Paris, was full!
Luckily for Garry, though, there are a few other ferries that go to France from Portsmouth, so he caught the ferry to St Malo instead!

This was a surprise trip to France! Garry had intended to go to the Isle of Wight! But after cycling to Portsmouth to catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight. He found out that he had just missed it. And it would have meant Garry waiting around for another ferry in an hours time! So instead of waiting, Mr impatient cycled around the corner to the international ferry terminal. And booked a ferry to Le Havre instead! Ironically now having to wait three hours and a whole night before he would arrive!
After a bit of dithering upon arrival in France, Garry headed north towards Dieppe and came home the following morning! A pleasant weekend ride with 200 miles covered.
Behind each marker is a summary of that day’s events, plus the mileage cycled that day.
