Cycle Touring France 5th-May-2023

Garry McGivern Travelsonabike2 is cycle touring in France Friday, 5th-May-2023. Morlaix to Saint-Brieuc. 55 miles. Just because I said I enjoyed yesterday, it didn’t mean I wanted the same thing today. Well, not entirely the same there was no emergency stop today. And at least there was a campsite open at the end of the day. But it’s been just as wet and hilly as yesterday and a lot windier, which for most of the day, was blowing slightly behind me.

Getting out of Morlaix this morning was hard going. The hill was so long and steep I had to get off and push. I don’t know if it was really that steep or if it’s me being useless. I’m pretty sure I never used to have to push my bike, so maybe it is the latter. Either that, or I’m just getting old and past it. After all, I am sixty this year!

The weather has been so bad today that the only photo I took today is the one at the top. And that’s the Mairie in Guingamp. The other photo was from last night in Morlaix.
