Bicycle Touring France: Saint-Malo to Janze

Life after sepsis and back to bicycle touring, my latest update: cycling in France, Saint-Malo to Janze. 70 miles. I was off that ferry this morning in record time. They hadn’t even taken the chains off the lorries when they let me off!

I decided to leave the train and cycle in the end today. From what I could see on the internet, the earliest train that I could have got was late this afternoon! And I didn’t fancy hanging around Saint-Malo all day. I wanted to get going! I’ll probably regret that decision later, as I’m pushing it for time once again, but Mr Impatient can’t hang around!

Nice ride today, despite a strong headwind, and I found myself on the Canal d’Ille-et-Rance once again, the same route I took last month when I came here. Although I seem to have made better progress this time! I’m hoping I’ll be back in Angers and on the Loire tomorrow.
