It was another nice, smooth crossing last night. After having supper on board the ship last night, I went and found the bar (like I’m not going to!) Anyway, the bar was located at the rear of the ship, and I settled down for a few beers. Well, that was until the cabaret started with Duncan, the comedy illusionist or whatever his name was! It was all a bit too cheesy for me, so I retired to my cabin early!

I was first off the ferry this morning, which made a pleasant change normally, I have to wait until the end! Nice flat riding today with a bit of a headwind, and it’s been overcast all day right up until late afternoon then the sun came out. Camping in a really cool place tonight. It’s a small holding, but the lady takes tents in, you just have to find a patch of grass in amongst the vegetables and the roaming chickens! On check-in, the lady said there’s a composting toilet down the bottom, but please feel free to pee up against any of the trees they like it! I’ve also got a view overlooking Mont San Michael.

  1. Interesting camp site. How do you get on for language? That.s a long haul over to St Malo. I prefer it outside the city walls. Hard to believe it’s all rebuilt since the war. I can’t meet you next time you come to the Island cuz I’ve had my bike pinched.

    1. Luckily for me most people speak English! Anyway the lady from last night’s campsite was English and came from Petworth which is just up the road from me!
Don’t worry about not having a bike we’ll meet you wherever you want!
