St-Richards-Hospital 5th September 2021. Once again I’m having to battle with the hospital to get my regular pain relief! Which I really struggle to understand why! They ask you before you come into the hospital what medication you take. You’re then asked again when you’re admitted into the hospital. And you even give them your prescribed drugs, so you can still take them! But for some reason, it’s all ignored and they give you what they want! It seems a complete waste of the nurses time asking! It’s even more annoying as some of the medication I take shouldn’t just be stopped!
Despite my problems with getting the right pain relief. I slept pretty well last night and only woke up a couple of times in pain!
Big shame I’m in here this weekend. Indya was having her birthday party today.
My blood pressure was a bit low today, so I got told to drink more. Really? I’m normally being told to drink less! Where’s that bar? Oh sorry, you meant water!
Julie came over to visit me this afternoon and took me out for a picnic. Vicky had packed some of the leftover food from Indya’s party. It was nice to go outside and get some fresh air. The only downside to it all was struggling to eat my roast dinner back on the ward!
